About Us

ramadanclock.com is a free Ramadan countdown and date guide for Muslims around the world. It answers one question clearly: how long is left until Ramadan and Eid, and when do they start in your country?

Who runs this site

ramadanclock.com is built and run by Shah, a Muslim from Pakistan who builds web tools and content websites. I made this site to make life easier for people who want to know when Ramadan and Eid begin, and so that others can benefit from my research into how each country sets its dates.

Every year, the same questions come up: will Ramadan start on the same day as in Saudi Arabia, how many fasts will there be, and when is the Eid holiday? I bring the official calendars, announcements and holiday lists together in one place, country by country, and explain them in plain language.

What makes this site different

  • Country pages, not translations. Our pages for Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, Iran, Indonesia, Turkey and Bangladesh are written for local readers, with local authorities, holidays and calendars.
  • Clear about what is confirmed. We label every date as expected or confirmed and explain our method openly.
  • Kept up to date. We update pages when authorities announce dates and record every change in our public log.
  • Free and simple. No sign-up, and the countdown works in your own time zone.
